This unique Link construction technique creates a strap body that has four layers of thick leather with a decorative leather tie that bonds the body to a smooth, double-ply glove leather end tab. The feel is soft and supple.
This handmade link style provides some give without being too elastic. This helps absorb any shock to your shoulder as you move around the stage.

I just received two black 3”.
Blown away by the quality and craftsmanship of the Link Glove Leather strap.
Journey began when I seen a picture on a FB SG guitar page of a guy pretending to attack an SG with a chainsaw…the SG was wearing a the coolest strap I had seen.
After over a year of searching, I came across the Franklin Link Glove leather strap. I immediately tried to purchase but was out of stock!
Messaged company through Facebook which graciously apologized, informed me more are due in a couple weeks and to please check back.
I followed up by checking website but still no luck. Messaged company again through Facebook…they just finished two and posted on website for me to order.
Previously I had asked if longer custom strap lengths were available and they not. But they do offer a longer tail for black and chocolate straps which will gain 11”. They included without extra cost.
I vow to promote Franklin to my guitar community and commend them for a fantastic, courteous experience. I will be back for more!

Simply the best and most comfortable guitar strap on the market. I have used these for several years, and currently own 5 of just this particular style. I own other Franklin straps, which are also great, but these are my favorite!!! Does Franklin do artist endorsements? Lol!

Wow…Just received this Strap. It is way softer than you might think. The Pictures do this strap, no justice. It feels like it totally broken in from the moment you touch it. I bought the 3” wide strap to use on my Telecaster. The strap feels amazing and is built for a lifetime of use. Quality made in the USA. Was looking for a comfortable strap and Franklin was one of the names that kept coming up. After browsing the selection I was very intrigued by the link design and how it would distribute the weight of the guitar (in theory). However they were out of stock for a couple months so I had to wait to grab one.
But, after one became available I jumped on it and am very happy I did. It’s very soft/comfortable and the price was more than fair. If you are looking for a strap then stop looking because this is the one. Also, if you have a kid or are just short this strap can suit your needs.
Only disappointments were waiting for stock, and preferring a different color that wasn’t restocked (maybe I can snag one in the future). The only possible issue I could see is some people worried that the holes are maybe to big or can get worn out. But, you can get strap locks of some sort of that’s a worry.
5/5 I will definitely buy again from Franklin whether for myself or as a gift.

Thanks Aaron! The link models are the only models we cannot make in bulk because they are hand woven and not cut with a die. A huge goal of ours is to scale this series up in the future. Hopefully we can do a better job at having these available! Thanks so much for your support!

Several years back I saw Jimmy Page playing with a woven leather strap on the famous 2007 O2 Arena Led Zeppelin concert video. I was fascinated and was able to track down the company that made his strap. I bought one of the last straps they made and shortly after, the company stopped making them. A few years later I saw a facebook ad advertising the Franklin strap which looked very much like the Jimmy Page strap. I went to the Franklin page and tried to order one but they were out of stock. Nearly a year later I was contacted by Franklin saying that they were in stock. So I ordered several. WOW! The Franklin straps are incredible- so much nicer even than the one Jimmy Page uses! They are soft but sturdy, I will never use anything else! They won’t scratch delicate Nitro finishes and they give just enough to allow me to play even my heaviest double neck guitar without shoulder fatigue. If I could give 10 stars I would!
