I have cognac Vintage Bass Strap on my Jazz Bass and love it. The leather is soft and durable like all Franklin straps and the 3.5″ width makes if comfortable with the extra weight of the bass. Highly recommended!

I bought the cognac Vintage Bass Strap not knowing it was designed to be a bass strap. I just thought it would be great for my guitars. It is perfect for both guitar and bass. I like how the pad is slightly curved as it provides great support for the guitar/bass, yet it doesn’t dig into my neck. Most straps are either narrow enough to avoid riding along your neck but are not wide enough to support a heavy guitar or bass. Others are wide enough to support the instrument but dig into your neck. This Vintage Bass Guitar Strap is the perfect compromise. I love, and own, many Franklin straps — they are THE best guitar and bass straps on the market. Period.
