We’ve created a 2.5” base of sumptuous leatherette with a rolled edge. Replacing the traditional cut edge with a double ply rolled edge makes the strap soft to the touch, while maintaining a truly robust feel. When you put this strap on your shoulder, you are immediately struck by how comfortable it feels. The vibrant jacquard pattern plays against the subtle surface graining of the leatherette for a unique look that is distinctive, yet understated. I’m a big fan of Franklin straps and I already have one for each of my guitars. When I saw the photo of the Retro Folk Deluxe straps at NAMM, I really liked red/bronze but I didn’t need another strap. What I needed was another guitar to give me an excuse to order another Franklin strap. I was traveling at the time when the obvious solution hit me – my travel guitar needs a Franklin strap! I was passing through Nashville so I called the office in Franklin and they were kind enough to let me stop by and pick it up in person. The Retro Folk Deluxe is a nice addition to the Franklin line. The leather is their classic combination of soft and durable and I absolutely love the woven pattern on the front. Now I just need another guitar so I can get another pattern. (Thanks again Charlton and sorry for the incredibly tardy review. It’s been a crazy year on the road!)

My second Franklin strap. The Red Folk strap is pure quality and works great for my Breedlove. I’m definitely a fan of these incredible Franklin straps!
